Agartala (Tripura), Feb 7 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated the ‘Skill-Uday Tongnai’ programme at the Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT) in Agartala on Feb 07. This ambitious skill development initiative is designed to empower 80,000 students from schools and colleges across Tripura in the coming days. The ‘Skill-Uday Tongnai’ program is a significant step toward equipping the state's youth with industry-relevant skills, fostering employability, and encouraging entrepreneurship. The name "Skill-Uday Tongnai" combines English, Bengali, and Kokborok, representing a new dawn of opportunities for the youth. "Skill" symbolizes individual empowerment, "Uday" means "rise" in Bengali, and "Tongnai," meaning "inauguration" in Kokborok, marks the beginning of this transformative journey.
