Tripura CM Manik Saha joins ‘Run for Unity’ on National Unity Day

Agartala (Tripura), October 29 (ANI): Tripura CM Manik Saha participated in ‘Run for Unity’ program in Agartala on the occasion of 'National Unity Day' on Oct 29. The event aimed to promote national unity and commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Government officials, students, and local citizens gathered to reaffirm commitment to national integration and social harmony. The event showcased enthusiastic participation from the community, reflecting a collective commitment to national integration. Tripura CM Manik Saha said, "In 2014, PM Modi had announced 'Unity Day' in memory of the country's first Deputy PM Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. His birthday is on October 31st but since it is Diwali, so it is celebrated today..."
