Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inspected the Mata Tripurasundari Temple premises at Udaipur on Thursday, accompanied by senior ministers and top officials. The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the state on September 22 to inaugurate the newly developed infrastructure and beautification works at the temple, completed under the PRASAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive) Project. Alongside Dr. Saha, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Minister Kishore Barman, MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Zila Sabhadhipati Debal Debroy, and MLAs Abhishek Debroy and Jitendra Majumder participated in the inspection. The team reviewed the on-ground preparations to ensure the event’s success, aiming for a smooth and grand inauguration in the Prime Minister’s presence. The visit highlights the state’s focus on enhancing spiritual tourism and infrastructure through dedicated government initiatives.
