Description: Agartala (Tripura), May 08, 2025 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha attended the observance of World Red Cross Day 2025 at Red Cross Bhawan in Agartala on May 08. The event was organized by the Indian Red Cross Society, Tripura State Branch. This initiative aims to promote voluntary blood donation and strengthen the healthcare support system throughout Tripura. Marking the occasion, the Chief Minister virtually inaugurated blood donation camps across all districts of the state. The Indian Red Cross Society has been engaged in humanitarian services for a long time through various social welfare activities. “Today is World Red Cross Day. The theme for today is 'Keeping Humanity Alive'. Regarding this, a blood donation camp was organised, which was attended by the Governor...The Red Cross Society has done good work...Whenever there is any need, they come forward to help, be it any disaster or anything...I think such institutes should always move forward...,” said Manik Saha.
