Gulmarg (J&K), Dec 31 (ANI): Gulmarg, located in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, attracted large number of tourists every year amid its snow-capped peaks and serene landscapes. Known for its breath-taking views and abundant snowfall, it has become a top destination for everyone especially around New Year. The resort is alive with festivities and tourists indulging in activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. Also, the snow-covered meadows and forests make it a perfect place for both adventure and relaxation. Although, Jammu and Kashmir’s Department of Tourism has not organizing any official events for New Year due to 7 days of national mourning on the demise of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Meanwhile, Gondola Ride, one of the highest cable cars ride in the world, gives amazing views of the mountains and adds charm to the place. Hotels, resorts, and guesthouses also bustling with visitors, offering a range of accommodation options, from luxury to budget stays.
