Tibetan New Year celebrations begin at Tsuglagkhang Temple in Dharamshala

Kangra (HP), Feb 10 (ANI): Tibetan New Year celebration, also known as Losar began with prayers at Tsuglagkhang Temple in Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra on February 10. It was organised by the Central Tibetan Administration of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile. Monks from Namgyal Monastery, and members of the Tibetan government in-exile offered special prayers. They welcomed the ‘Wood Dragon year 2151’ and said goodbye to ‘Year of the Water Rabbit 2150’. Notably, Tibetan New Year is celebrated to mark the beginning of the new year. It will be conducted from February 10 to February 12.
