New Delhi, Mar 09 (ANI): Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, addressed the media in the national capital on March 09, discussing the historical scarcity of LPG cylinders in India during the 1960s and 1970s. He highlighted the challenges faced by citizens due to the limited availability of gas connections at that time and criticised the subsidy policies of the previous governments. Hardeep Puri contrasted these with the current government's approach, emphasising the citizen-centric Ujjwala Gas Yojana by the BJP, which prioritises affordable energy access. Additionally, he compared fuel prices in BJP-governed states with those governed by other parties.
