Agartala (Tripura), August 13(ANI): A blood donation camp was organised by Nivedita Club, Agartala on August 13. The blood donation camp was attended by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha. CM Manik Saha appealed to people to come forward and donate blood. This initiative has been taken to meet the demand for blood units. Manik Saha appreciated the blood donors who came forward to donate blood. CM Manik Saha said, “People get to know more about society by doing social work. Blood is necessary for most of the diseases. In Tripura, there are 14 blood banks. When one person donates blood, it can save the lives of four people. Through this program, there is awareness being spread. It will also identify diseases as not everyone can donate blood.”
