Hyderabad (Telangana), 21 September (ANI): On Tirupati Prasadam row, TDP MLC G. Deepak Reddy says, "...Certain facts need to be put before the people- about 4-5 years ago, the Nandini and Karnataka Milk Federation head had given a press statement saying that they were giving the lowest price to Tirupati...Anybody giving a price lower than this will automatically do contamination...In spite of that, the earlier YCP government did not bother and they called middlemen to supply ghee. The quantity is 15,000 kgs a day, a middle man does not have a dairy for the production and he would be buying it from the market. Knowing this there was total carelessness from the earlier YCP government...The sanctity of the temple is in question. The CM is absolutely angry about all this and he has ordered a detailed inquiry, we expect a report coming out shortly. All the people responsible for these mistakes will be punished very strongly..."
