Thane (Maharashtra), September 15 (ANI): Gharivali, a small village on the outskirts of Thane in Maharashtra, stands out for its remarkable achievement. Out of the 30 families living in Gharivali, 20 families have a qualified doctor under their roof. Five more families have aspiring doctors who are expected to complete their MBBS degree in the next few years. The success story of Gharivali began in 2000 when Sanjay Patil achieved the milestone of becoming the village’s first MBBS degree holder. Dr Sanjay Patil’s achievement inspired other youngsters to pursue the profession.
