Ladakh, April 26 (ANI): BJP MP from Ladakh, Jamyang Namgyal on April 25 cleared air on reports of his discontent with party. His clarification comes after BJP replaced him with Tashi Gyalson as Ladakh Lok Sabha candidate. As BJP fielded Tashi Gyalson from UT's lone seat, reports claimed that discontent was brewing within party's Ladakh unit. Taking to X, BJP MP broke his silence and claimed he never raised voice against the party and condemned those spreading false statements. BJP’s Namgyal made headlines in 2019 with his viral speech in Lok Sabha to defend Centre's decision to repeal Article 370. The BJP’s decision to drop Namgyal came after protests against the ruling party in Leh over several demands. BJP’s new Ladakh candidate, Tashi Gyalson is the chairman-cum-chief executive councillor of LAHDC in Leh.
