Srinagar, Nov 29, 2025 (ANI): A national Taekwondo referee and refresher seminar in Srinagar gathered senior athletes, officials, and aspiring referees. The program focused on improving participants’ understanding of newly updated Taekwondo rules introduced nationally and internationally. This seminar represented a major step toward strengthening Taekwondo’s foundation while opening fresh refereeing career pathways. Experienced instructors conducted intensive sessions explaining revised techniques, scoring systems, and approved protective equipment guidelines. National-level referees also trained attendees on recent technical modifications issued by Indian Taekwondo and J&K Taekwondo bodies. Senior players actively engaged in sessions to strengthen their command of new regulations for upcoming competitive events. A key objective was preparing participants with essential skills needed to confidently serve as referees in future tournaments.
