Ahmedabad (Gujarat), May 16, 2025 (ANI): Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd (SRFDL) is running a cleanliness campaign on the Sabarmati riverbank in Ahmedabad on May 16. It has been temporarily drained by the Gujarat Irrigation Department for development works. The campaign started from May 15 and will continue till June 5 on World Environment Day. “The irrigation department has drained the water from the banks of the Sabarmati River for maintenance. This has given us a golden opportunity to start a mega campaign to clean up the riverfront. We started this campaign yesterday, and it will continue till June 5, which is World Environment Day. Yesterday, about 9000 people from 81 NGOs were here to clean the riverfront...,” said Amrutesh Aurangabadkar.
