Special program organised in J&K’s Ganderbal to encourage ornamental fish culture

Ganderbal (J&K), March 30 (ANI): Special training programme was organised to promote aqua fish culture in Jammu & Kashmir. The purpose of this special training programme was to inform young entrepreneurs regarding ornamental fish and aquarium trade that will help them to start their own ventures in future. During this training programme, fishery experts gave different lectures with power point presentations regarding importance as well as benefits of aqua fish culture. “As we know ornamental fish is a different sector… Ornamental fishes plays a major role in releasing the stress… We Kashmiris have suffered a turmoil in last 70 years, so it can become a big market in Kashmir,” said a participant “We are guided by our professors to make the aquriums, after that we get an opppertunity for entrepreneurship as how can we take the aquiriums to the households,” said another participant.
