South Central Railway Zone Undergoes Major Upgrade

Secunderabad [Telangana], April 20(ANI): As part of the Amrit Bharat Scheme, the South Central Railway Zone is witnessing significant improvements aimed at enhancing passenger experience. Notably, several railway stations in Telangana are undergoing transformative upgrades to meet growing travel demands. Warangal Railway Station is being modernized with a new, prominent signboard, a newly constructed building, and a well-designed food court to cater to diverse tastes. Additionally, the station will feature a new ticket counter, and both AC and general waiting halls are being developed to provide greater comfort and convenience. Similarly, Begumpet Railway Station is undergoing major renovations, including the installation of a modern ticket counter, a revamped waiting hall, and new lifts and escalators. A renovated foot over bridge will further ease movement, making the station more commuter-friendly. Ramagundam Railway Station is also being redeveloped with improved infrastructure, escalators, and better parking facilities to enhance the overall travel experience for passengers across the region.
