Srinagar, Dec 23, 2025 (ANI): As winter tightens its grip on Kashmir, the government has set up a Snow Control Room in Srinagar. Kashmir faces heavy snowfall every year, disrupting roads, power supply, healthcare, and daily life. The control room centralizes monitoring and response to manage winter emergencies efficiently. It will operate round-the-clock, especially during intense snowfall periods. Key departments will coordinate closely to speed up decisions and emergency responses. Priority will be given to clearing roads and ensuring access to hospitals and critical infrastructure. Power and water disruptions will be tracked and restored quickly through concerned departments. Citizens can report issues directly, helping reduce winter hardships through faster action.
