Dehradun (Uttarakhand), July 17 (ANI): President of Shri Badarinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee Ajendra Ajay reacted to Jyotish Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand’s remark of alleged scam of 228 kg gold from Kedarnath Temple, and said that if he has any proof of such an incident, then he should present to a competent authority. He further said that if he doing it just to propagate the propaganda of Congress, then its unfortunate. Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay says, "I respect Swami Avimukteshwaranand but he keeps holding press conferences throughout the day. Stoking controversy, create sensationalism and being in the news is a habit of Swami Avimukteshwaranand. His statement on gold missing in Kedarnath Dham is very unfortunate. I urge him as well as challenge him to bring to light facts and evidence. He should go to authorities, present then the evidence and demand an investigation. If he doesn't trust a capable authority, he should approach the Supreme Court, High Court, file a PIL and demand an investigation if he actually has evidence. Otherwise, he doesn't have the right to stoke an unnecessary controversy and harm the dignity of Kedarnath. If he is working to advance a Congress agenda, it is very unfortunate."
