Srinagar, Aug 16 (ANI): Shikaras with items for sale in Dal Lake have been a unique sight in Srinagar. Set against the beautiful backdrop of beautiful mountains, this colorful site with Shikara shops is a must-visit in Srinagar. Shikara market became a popular tourist attraction for tourists and is often compared to the market in Vietnam. Shikara boats float on Dal Lake with items from 5 pm to 10 pm. The sound of vendors chatting, bargaining, and making deals with customers can be heard all over Dal Lake. Flower sellers also sail from one tourist to another to sell their items. Barbeque, traditional Kashmiri Kahwa, fruit chat, ice cream, bakery items and many more items are sold from Shikara boats. This floating market attracts a large number of domestic as well as foreign tourists. Notably, Dal lake is a popular tourist destination and is known for its scenic beauty and floating markets.
