“She will bring Gold…” Uncle Mahavir Phogat confident of Vinesh’s Gold after her Semi-Final triumph

Charkhi Dadri (Haryana), August 07 (ANI): Indian grappler Vinesh Phogat continued her impressive run at the Paris Olympics, securing a dominant win in the women’s 50kg wrestling semi-finals on August 6. Her victory was met with celebrations in her hometown of Balali, where her uncle Mahavir Phogat and the villagers rejoiced in her success. With this win, Vinesh Phogat advances to the finals, keeping India's hopes for a gold medal alive. Speaking to ANI, Indian Wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s uncle Mahavir Phogat said, “... We are completely sure that she will bring the Gold medal. She played very well and with confidence. She will play well further also. Not just the village, but the whole nation is happy today...”
