Mumbai, May 28 (ANI): Sharad Pawar’s close aide Sonia Doohan on May 28 resigned from the Nationalist Congress Party (SCP). She was the Student Union President of Sharad Pawar’s party. She is considered as the woman who ‘stopped’ Ajit Pawar’s mutiny in 2019. Sonia Doohan blamed Supriya Sule for her act. Speaking to ANI, she said, “I haven’t left Sharad Pawar nor I have left the party. I don’t know who is spreading these rumours. I have not joined the party of Ajit Pawar. Supriya Sule should think about why leaders who have been associated with Sharad Pawar for decades are leaving the party. Not everything is going right in the party. I am leaving the party because of Supriya Sule.”
