Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), August 15 (ANI): Incessant rainfall for the past couple of days in Himachal Pradesh has triggered landslides and led blocking of several roads. A section of UNESCO heritage, the Kalka-Shimla Railway track was left hanging after the soil beneath it was washed away. Due to the landslide, the railway movement on Kalka-Shimla railway line was suspended between Jutogh and Summer Hill railway station. Speaking over the situation, railway officer and locals stated that they had ‘never’ seen such kind of devastation. Over 50 people have lost their lives in the state, and over 20 people are still feared to be trapped in landslides in Himachal.
