Schools reopen in J-K’s Reasi as normalcy returns after ceasefire understanding b/w India, Pakistan

Reasi (J-K), May 13 (ANI): Amid escalating tensions between India, Pakistan; schools, colleges, and other educational institutions in J-K’s Reasi were closed. This came after India’s Operation Sindoor, which destroyed 9 terror sites in PoK using precision strike weapons. However, following the cessation of hostilities between India and Pakistan, schools in Reasi, Jammu, reopened on May 13. The administration decided to resume classes in Jammu’s non-border districts in response to improving conditions. Children excitedly returned to classrooms after a period of disruption, with necessary safety measures in place. The district administration has urged parents and guardians to support the smooth operation of schools, Authorities remain focused on a secure learning environment, with continued vigilance for the safety of students, teachers, and staff.
