School children visit Srinagar’s Mirgund Seed station for an educational tour

Srinagar, June 25 (ANI): Birla Institute School organised a field visit for schoolchildren at Mirgund seed station in Srinagar. The purpose of educational tour was to increase general awareness of students about the mulberry fruit crop. Experts of the sericulture dept gave demonstrations to students about the mulberry fruit crop and its process. Students learned about sericulture activities like fruit harvesting, tree pruning, and rearing. They appreciated the specific field trip and requested that similar activities be ongoing in the future.
