New Delhi, October 17 (ANI): 'Supermoon', the year's largest & brightest moon left a mesmerising view at Delhi’s India Gate. 'Supermoon' was also witnessed in Madhya Pradesh’s Raipur city from its clock tower. Moreover, Full moon was seen during 'Sharad Poornima from Bhubaneswar's CRPF Square. A supermoon is a full Moon that occurs when the Moon is at perigee, its closest distance to the Earth. The Moon appears 14% larger than the “micromoon”, when the Moon is furthest away from Earth on its elliptical orbit, according to London’s Natural History Museum. The supermoon also casts 30% more light on Earth compared to the dimmest full Moon, reported New York Post.
