Sashastra Seema Bal initiates green future with plantation drive in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 26, 2025 (ANI): Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in collaboration with NGO White Globe organised a plantation drive at Sultan-ul-Arfeen School in Srinagar. It was a part of SSB’s commitment to environmental preservation and community engagement, aiming to cultivate a deeper understanding of ecological issues among the youth. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students to plant saplings within the school premises. Jawans of SSB played a good role in guiding students throughout the process, sharing valuable insights about the different types of trees and their significance. This initiative not only aimed to beautify the school grounds but also sought to instil a sense of stewardship for the environment among the young learners. The newly planted trees stand as a testament to the collective effort of the community, reminding everyone of their role in nurturing the environment.
