‘Saras Fair’ empowers Self Help Groups in Gujarat’s Dang

Dang (Gujarat), July 31 (ANI): Regional ‘Saras Fair’ underway under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission in Gujarat’s Dang. The aim was to empower women of the Self Help Groups (SHG) and to provide market facilities for the sale of various artistic products from various states. The fair was organised by the Ministry of Rural Development and Rural Development of Gujarat. It was open for tourists from 9 am to 9 pm and will continue till August 08. 48 stalls from 31 districts were kept in the fair. Live food stalls and entertainment as well as art and craft stalls are also available in the fair. The fair has been witnessing a good footfall of customers who are in search of traditional, unique and handcrafted items.
