Sambhal under tight security, Ajay Rai-led Congress delegation to visit violence-affected region

Sambhal (UP), December 02 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal continues to be under strict security deployment after ‘Nov 24 stone-pelting incident’. Police forces have been deployed at every crucial point around Shahi Jama Masjid to maintain law and order. A Congress delegation led by State President Ajay Rai is scheduled to visit the violence site later in the day. Police have served a notice to Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai, asking him to postpone his planned visit to Sambhal. Police force including PSC is also deployed outside the Congress party office in Lucknow ahead of the visit.
