Ahmedabad’s iconic Sabarmati Riverfront has entered a transformative new phase. Phase–2 spans 5.5 kilometres from Shahibaug Dafnala to Indira Bridge and aims to reshape how the city connects and commutes along its waterfront. At its core is a barrage-cum-bridge powered by inflatable rubber technology — the city’s second barrage. More than an expansion, Phase–2 strategically will link the riverfront to: * Narendra Modi Stadium * Chandkheda * Shahibaug * The Rubber Bridge corridor. This will turn it from a leisure destination into a key mobility spine for North Ahmedabad.
