New Delhi, April 17, 2025 (ANI): As ED summoned Robert Vadra for a 3rd day, Indian Businessman and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra on April 17 called it a BJP’s political campaign. He also said that if he would enter politics then BJP would either speak of dynasty or misuse ED. “This is BJP’s political campaigning that chargesheet has been filed against Sonia ji and Rahul, and I was summoned the same day. So, they are portraying through media that we are doing something wrong. Public is aware, they know and understand everything. Such things hold know meaning, it makes us even stronger. This will yield no result because there is nothing in it. If they want to fake something and show or do something wrong, I won't be able to control it but the truth is that they do not have anything,” said Robert Vadra. “Definitely...If people would want, I would join with the blessings of my family...I would work hard for Congress...This (ED summons) will continue because we agitate, we fight for people, we are against injustice and we will continue to fight. So, this will continue,” he added on joining politics. “If I would enter politics, which is what everyone wants, they (BJP) would either speak of dynasty or misuse ED. This difficulty started when, a few days back, I gave messages through social media regarding atrocities on minorities. This is nothing else. Ever since I said that people wanted me to enter politics, this difficulty started. But the ED summon has no basis...,” he added. “...Interrogation is ongoing. These are the same old questions which I had answered in 2019. These have no basis. Nothing wrong has been done. BJP CM (Manohar Lal) Khattar had given me a clean chit twice in this case. So, why are they summoning me? Filing the chargesheet (against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in National Herald case) on the same day is BJP's political campaigning and misuse of ED,” he added.
