Road Safety Education Seminar held to aware students about traffic norms in Budgam

Budgam (J&K), March 03 (ANI): Road Safety Education Seminar was organised by Sheikh-ul-Alam Memorial Degree College, Budgam and Kashmir Road Safety Foundation (KRSF) in Budgam. It was an invaluable initiative aimed at empowering students with knowledge about traffic-related issues. It was attended by students to raise awareness about driver's licenses, transport insurance, traffic law enforcement, the role of civil society in traffic management, artifice jams and other traffic-related issues. Expert speakers from the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation, Regional Transport Office (RTO), Traffic department shared valuable insights on the significance of adhering to traffic laws. Participants from the seminar learnt that road safety is not solely the responsibility of government bodies and law enforcement agencies. Notably, civil society plays a crucial role through advocacy, public awareness campaigns, and community engagement. By promoting the importance of road safety, individuals and organizations can work together to cultivate a culture of responsible driving.
