Rest After Duty: ‘Khaki Bhavan’ Built for Gujarat Police Personnel in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Gujarat’s police personnel, who remain on duty round the clock to maintain law and order, now have a dedicated residential facility in Ahmedabad — the ‘Khaki Bhavan’. Built at a cost of around 8.5 crore rupees, the Khaki Bhavan is a modern residential complex aimed at providing police personnel with safe and dignified accommodation, ensuring rest and meals within the same premises. Additional amenities like a gym and indoor games are slated to be added soon. The construction of the Khaki Bhavan has been completed and it will soon be operational. The facility is expected to boost morale and efficiency within the police force, reflecting the government’s commitment to the welfare of police personnel.
