Rescue teams intensify search operation in Himachal Pradesh’s Samej village after major cloudburst

Samej (Himachal Pradesh), August 04 (ANI): Search and rescue ops intensified in Shimla’s flood-affected Samej village. 36 people have been missing since the catastrophic cloudburst struck Himachal Pradesh. The cloudburst was reported on the intervening night of July 31 and August 1. Cloudburst followed by flashfloods wreaked widespread destruction in the region. Army constructed an improvised footbridge to facilitate the movement of rescue teams towards the far bank of the river. NDRF to SDRF, Police, and Home Guard personnel, everybody is involved in the rescue operations together.
