“Ready to work…” China vows to work with new Trump administration as Xi meets Biden in Peru

Lima (Peru), November 17 (ANI): Proving his political dominance, Donald Trump is set to become President of the United States once again after historic victory. Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden met with Chinese President Xi Jinping for the last time in Peru on Nov 16. During the meeting, Xi said that China is "ready to work" with the new Donald Trump administration. He also emphasized maintaining communication, expanding cooperation and managing differences. During the meeting, Chinese President Xi also emphasized the importance of US-China relationship. Meanwhile, Biden also urged Xi to maintain the relationship as he emphasized that competition shouldn't turn into conflict. Donald Trump won a second term as President of the US after securing 295 electoral votes in the 2024 presidential election. Following his victory, President-elect Trump has moved swiftly with finalising his foreign policy and national security
