New Delhi, August 21 (ANI): Rajeev Arora, Chairman, Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation, inaugurated the One District One Product Scheme at the Rajasthali Emporium in Connaught Place, Delhi. Other senior officers were also present on the occasion. The handicrafts and handlooms of Rajasthan are unmatched in the entire country. The variety of gemstones, leather products, silica and decorative items found in Rajasthan is hardly found anywhere else. Whatever important things are traditionally found or made in the district have been made available in this emporium. It is obvious that this scheme will give a lot of encouragement to the traditional industry of every district of the state. This will encourage capital investment in the state, which will increase employment opportunities. Under the One District One Product Scheme, the Government of Rajasthan selected such products and sectors that have better potential for growth and which can be brought on a larger platform.
