Rajasthan: Spring-loaded fans installed in Hostels, PGs across Kota to prevent suicide cases

Kota (MP), August 18 (ANI): Spring-loaded fans were installed in all hostels and Paying Guest (PG) accommodations of Kota to decrease the number of suicide cases among students. According to a report, a total of twenty students have committed suicide in Kota alone in the last eight months. The government aims to enhance mental health support within coaching institutes, schools and universities. Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot also addressed the issue at the inauguration ceremony of state-level ‘Yuva Mahapanchayat’ in Jaipur on August 12 and said, “It is a matter of concern that 20 students have committed suicide in the last eight months in Kota.”
