Jaipur (Rajasthan) Aug 15 (ANI): On the occasion of Independence Day, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot launched the Mukhyamantri Nishulk Annapurna Food Packet Scheme on August 15. Families covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) will get the Annapurna food packets every month for free. Ashok Gehlot said, “It’s a great pleasure to start Annapurna Food Packet Scheme on the occasion of Independence Day. May the whole nation experience a festive atmosphere like Rajasthan. The scheme was experienced this time. Around 1,80,000 people benefitted due to the scheme. Beneficiaries received food packets according to the eligibility mentioned in the computer via the Annapurna guarantee card.”
