Kota (Rajasthan), September 13 (ANI): Chambal Riverfront has added to the beauty of the historic city of Kota. This first heritage riverfront of the country was inaugurated by Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Dr CP Joshi in the presence of distinguished guests. On this occasion, he along with all the guests observed the riverfront and enjoyed the beauty there. The length of this riverfront from Kota Barrage to Nayapura Pulia is 2.75 kilometers. This project, costing approximately Rs 1400 crore, took about 3 years to complete. 26 ghats have been built on the Chambal riverfront, which has its own specialties. The main attraction of the riverfront is the ghats built here which have the potential to attract tourists. Chambal River Front will prove to be a milestone from a tourism point of view. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people of Kota to get a glimpse of the newly constructed riverfront. With the efforts of the CM Gehlot-led government, several projects have been initiated in Rajasthan for the development of the state.
