Ahmedabad (Gujarat), August 21 (ANI): Launched in 2015 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is transforming lives by providing permanent homes along with clean toilets, safe drinking water, education, and healthcare. The scheme goes beyond housing, fostering security, dignity, and inclusive growth for poor and middle-class families across India. Gujarat has emerged as a frontrunner with proactive governance and efficient implementation. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation alone has provided over 27,000 houses, while 32,000 more are under construction. From villages to cities, Gujarat’s timely construction, transparency, and quality standards have set a national benchmark, turning the dream of a home into reality and ensuring hope, social upliftment, and a brighter future for countless families.
