Poonch: Army organises dancing competition ahead of Poonch Link-Up Day 23

Poonch (J&K), November 15 (ANI): The Indian Army Mandi Battalion on November 15 organised a dancing competition in Poonch for the students of various schools in the town. The Dancing Competition was organised in the Poonch NATO Auditorium. More than 15 schools participated in the competition from various districts across the town. The competition was organised in connection with the upcoming 76th Poonch Link Up Day on November 22, 2023. Poonch Link-Up Day marks Operation Easy conducted by the Indian Army in 1948 to defend the border district from the invading Pakistani raiders. “This is the 76th year of the Poonch Link Up Day celebrations. We are thankful to the Army to organise this competition. They competition holds many activities such as dancing, singing and drama and we are very excited to showcase our talent at such a big stage,” said a participant.
