‘PoK was surrendered…’: BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi’s fiery response to Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, June 4, 2025 (ANI): On Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's statement, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi says, “By making objectionable and cheap comments about PM Narendra Modi, he has once again proved that he does not have the ability and maturity to handle a serious post like the Leader of the Opposition. Rahul Gandhi has once again shown his lack of wisdom and low standards by making such statements. I want to tell Rahul Gandhi that this is the same party and the same organisation that has made the invincible Congress irrelevant in many states...I want to tell Rahul Gandhi what surrender is. You had said on 15 July 2011 that terrorism cannot be controlled. This was a surrender to terrorism. After the 26/11 attack, your government did not allow the army to take action. This is called surrender. In 1971, we had 93,000 soldiers. Even after that, PoK was surrendered in Indira ji's government... In 1948, Pandit Nehru surrendered to the United Nations and surrendered half of Kashmir and at the time of independence, one-third of the country was surrendered to Jinnah and the Muslim League...”
