Barasat (West Bengal), March 6 (ANI): West Bengal BJP leaders Agnimitra Paul, Priyanka Tebriwal and Locket Chatterjee reacted over the overwhelming reaction Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally got in Barasat, West Bengal on March 6 and blamed Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the miserable situation of the women in West Bengal. Talking to ANI, BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul said, “Mamata Banerjee and her government are stealing money from central government funds and you talk about celebrating International Women’s Day? Why this drama?” Further bashing the TMC government in West Bengal, she said, “Why Mamta Banerjee and her government is afraid of CBI taking over the case of Sheikh Shahjahan? He is a criminal and a murderer. He is a rapist. Why Mamata Banerjee is trying to protect Sheikh Shahjahan? The only reason for that is, if he opens his mouth, she will be in trouble.” Lastly, she said, “It was a great meeting. On the eve of Women’s Day, it was great to have Prime Minister in West Bengal and assuring us that he is with us.” BJP State Secretery Priyanka Tebriwal said to ANI, “See Mamta Banerjee gave full protection to Shahjahan. But now water has gone above the head. Now he is under investigation of CBI and now they will know.” Talking about Narendra Modi’s speech, she further added, “PM shared his journey and talked about how he was deprived of food in his early days.” Last but not the least, MP Locket Chatterjee said, “Till the time the women of Sandeshkhali won’t get justice Narendra Modi won’t sit at home. Mamata Banerjee couldn’t give security to the women of Sandeshkhali.”
