PM Modi lays foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 20,000 cr in Tiruchirappalli

Tiruchirappalli (TN), Jan 02 (ANI): Embarking on the ‘Mission South’ journey, PM Modi on Dec 02 laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects in Tiruchirappalli. PM Modi later proceeded to inaugurate the new terminal building at the Trichy airport. The total cost of the projects in Trichy was over 20,000 crore. Tiruchirappalli Int’l Airport is the 2nd largest airport in terms of international passenger traffic after Chennai in TN. Earlier, PM Modi took a walkthrough at the New Terminal Building of the Tiruchirappalli International Airport. He was accompanied by Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin. Apart from Tamil Nadu, PM Modi will also visit Lakshadweep and Kerala over two days.
