New Delhi, Oct 15 (ANI): Speaking at India Mobile Congress 2024, Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla on October 15 said that our government has consistently recognized the importance of digital connectivity. “...Our government has consistently recognized the importance of digital connectivity and has introduced several reforms over the years to drive us towards an even more connected, empowered and inclusive digital nation...What has been remarkable in the journey is that government continue to trust in expanding digital reforms and accelerating digital adoption for people and businesses equally…A few years ago, our PM Modi articulated that MSMEs need maximum support to micro, small and medium enterprises…This last year, India achieved the remarkable feat of 10 crore tele consultations and I believe this is a matter of great pride for every Indian. The fundraise enabled the company to kick start its capex cycle. Vodafone Idea has already announced the first phase of capex deals worth $3.6 billion with three global partners- Nokia, Ericsson and Samsung. With continued support from the government, I am confident that we will do our part to realise the Prime Minister's Digital India destiny,” said Kumar Mangalam Birla.
