Janjgir-Champa (Chhattisgarh), Aug 13 (ANI): Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on August 13 attended party's ‘Bharose Ka Sammelan’ event in Janjgir-Champa. He was felicitated by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in a traditional manner. Mallikarjun Kharge launched a scathing attack on PM Narendra Modi-led Central Government and said that PM Modi and HM Amit Shah studied in government schools established by Congress. Mallikarjun Kharge said, “PM Modi didn't answer (on Manipur) what Rahul Gandhi or leaders of the INDIA alliance asked him. Instead, he made fun of Jawaharlal Nehru and Congress leaders. They keep saying that PM Modi has done everything. Did power, schools come to Chhattisgarh after Modi came to power? PM Modi and HM Shah studied in government schools established by us. Or did they study in London or Oxford? And they ask us what the Congress party did in the last 70 years. We had only put everything in place.”
