PM Modi and French President enjoy ‘Chai pe Charcha’, pay via UPI in Jaipur

Jaipur (Rajasthan) January 25 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met and warmly greeted French President Emmanuel Macron at Jantar Mantar in Jaipur. PM Modi and President Macron visited a tea stall and interacted with each other over ‘chai pe charcha’, in Jaipur. PM Modi also explained to President Macron the transactions through the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). Later, French President Emmanuel Macron used a UPI method to make a payment for tea. Earlier the leaders reached ‘Hawa Mahal’ and admired the ancient Indian architecture. At Hawa Mahal, both leaders stopped at local shops, where PM Modi gifted President Macron a replica of the Ram Mandir.
