Parliament Security Breach: Accused mastermind Lalit Jha arrested by Delhi Police

New Delhi, December 15 (ANI): Mastermind Lalit Jha, the key accused in Parliament security breach that took place on Dec 13 was arrested by Delhi police December 14. He was arrested following a massive manhunt by police. As per Police, "Lalit Jha came to the police station on his own after which the police arrested him and started an interrogation". Delhi's Patiala House Court on Dec 14, granted a 7-day custodial remand of other four accused persons arrested in the case. Earlier, the Lok Sabha secretariat suspended eight security personnel on Dec 14, over security lapses leading to the major security breach. Notably, the security breach happened on the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 terror attack on the Parliament.
