Odisha: Puri gears up for famous ‘Rath Yatra’, 3 chariots brought to Singha Dwara

Puri (Odisha), July 06 (ANI): Before the onset of the holy ‘Rath Yatra’ from July 07, the three chariots were brought to Singha Dwara (Lion Gate) of Srimandir Puri. The chariots namely, Nandighosha, Darpadalana, and Taladhwaja belong to Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, Lord Balabhadra of the Hindu pantheon. Thousands of devotees gathered in Puri during the pulling of the chariots from Rath Khala to the Singha Dwara of the shrine. Heavy security personnel were deployed in Puri to avoid any mishaps during the celebrations.
