Northern Army showcases indigenous weapons to be inducted in Northern, Western Theatre Commands

New Delhi, September 11 (ANI): To bolster Aatmanirbharta in Defence pitch, Army North Tech Symposium showcased indigenous weapons at IIT Jammu campus. Indian defence manufacturers gathered to showcase modern, cutting-edge weapons in Jammu. Indian Army’s latest Light Specialist Vehicles were also showcased at the North Tech Symposium. These LSVs can be equipped with anti-tank guided missile launchers, medium machine guns, grenade launchers. These vehicles can also be used to rush troops to forward areas for quick reaction and operations. The vehicles are suitable for rigid regions like Ladakh sector and areas across LoC in Jammu & Kashmir. GOC-in-Chief Northern Command Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi informed about the symposium and equipment displayed.
