Noida Supertech Twin Towers: Gone in seconds, debris cleared in 1 year, lane named as ‘Vijay Path’

Noida (UP), August 28 (ANI): It has been a year since the demolition of the Supertech Twin Towers took place in Noida. Now, the debris in the areas has been cleaned completely and the locals heaving a sigh of relief. The Supreme Court had given the go-ahead for the towers' demolition and these were demolished on August 28, 2022. The lane leading to the towers’ demolition point has now been named as ‘Vijay Path’. The twin towers in Sector 93A, Noida came crashing down within a span of nearly nine seconds after the use of 3,700 kg explosives. The demolition of the Apex (32 storeys) and Ceyane (29 storeys) towers left behind about 35,000 cubic metres of debris. The people in the surrounding areas were advised to stay indoors, use air purifiers and wear N-95 masks.
