No Middlemen, Just Results: Swagat Online Portal Delivers Justice in Gujarat

Kutch (Gujarat), August 26 (ANI): In Gujarat’s Kutch district, the Mehta family’s two-year struggle for approval to build shops on their land finally ended through the intervention of the Chief Minister’s Office and the SWAGAT (State-Wide Attention on Grievances by Application of Technology) Portal. Dulendrabhai Mehta and his brother faced repeated delays in obtaining an NOC for property registered under their mother, Mrudulaben. Relief came when Dulendrabhai approached the CM’s Office and even received a direct call from the Chief Minister. The issue was swiftly resolved via the SWAGAT Portal, granting long-awaited permission. Having resolved over 99% of grievances, SWAGAT has earned awards like the 2010 UN Public Service Award. This case highlights how transparent, tech-driven governance delivers not just solutions, but also hope and happiness.
